Statement of Mission:

Freeman's Battery Forrest's Artillery Sons of Confederate Veterans , Camp 1939, invites you to join with us to preserve our Southern heritage, history and culture.  We are an incorporated non-profit organization which is composed of two groups:  Freeman's Battery Forrest Artillery, Inc., a re-enactment group, and a camp of the Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV).  Our goal is to support the Sons of Confederate Veterans, teach true Southern history, refute untruths about the South and its symbols, erect and preserve monuments to Southern valor, and honor men and women who served the Confederate States of America.  To accomplish the above, we participate in memorials, parades, living history events, movies, commemorations, re-enactments, relic shows, publications, public displays and fund raisers for financing and erecting monuments and historical markers.
